The House That Griffey Built
Since I never made it out to Cincinnati, a bunch of friends and I made it to Griffey's return to Seattle on Friday night. Before the game they played highlights of his career in Seattle. Brought back great memories from the amazing catches to the home runs. Almost brought tears to my eyes. As Griffey approached the podium after the highlights, he was welcomed with cheers by a sell-out crowd. Without Griffey, we would not be sitting in Safeco Field.
There is even a online petition to bring him back to Seattle. One can only dream to have Griffey and Ichiro in the same outfield. I'm holding out hope that he's able to retire as a Mariner...

No one in Seattle will ever forget the 95' series vs the Yankees...
